Exciting News!

Today when we arrived at school we noticed that the chrysalis had turned black.  Later at reading time, the chrysalis opened and a beautiful Monarch Butterfly came out.  It took quite a long time for its wings to dry then it started flying around our classroom.  Mrs McCulley opened the window and it flew away.  Fly free little butterfly.  Thank you for being in Room 4!

Swimming

Today was our second day of swimming.  We are enjoying our walk in the sunshine and splash in the pool!  Thank you to all the wonderful parents who are helping us.

Come and see our colourful responsibility display in our classroom.

On Tuesday Constable Gwen visited us to talk about 'Road Safety'.  She explained to us about how important it was to have a booster seat when travelling in the car.  Constable Gwen also talked to us about how to keep safe when walking on the footpath.  Don't forget about those sneaky driveways!  She also had her own pedestrian crossing and we had fun practising crossing the road.
