Maeve & Buzzy

Buzzy had a super weekend with Maeve.  He ate delicious pancakes with maple syrup, relaxed with Maeve's cat Pixie, played with Maeve's friend Izzy and went to Emersyn's birthday party.  Lots of fun!

The Middle Team Art Exhibition

This morning we went into Te Puna Ako to see the Middle Team's Art Exhibition.  There were so many amazing pieces of art to look at!

The Senior Team Show

Today we went to watch the dress rehearsal of the Senior Team Show.  All of the kids were busy sharing their talents.  There was singing, dancing, juggling, Parkour and more!

Zara's Learning Commitment

Well done to Zara who shared her Learning Commitment with us today.  Zara had written a wonderful story that she read to us.

Maggie & Buzzy

Maggie and Buzzy had a wonderful weekend together.  They played at St Clair School, jumped on the trampoline, played with a beach ball, rode on a scooter as well as going to the Art Gallery and Amelia's birthday party.  Phew!  What a busy weekend!

Showing Gratitude

On Thursday afternoon, Mrs McCulley went to a course and Mrs Robertson taught Room 4.  Mrs McCulley got a wonderful surprise on Friday morning when she saw lots of beautiful cards from the children, sharing why they were grateful for their teacher.  How special!

Nikita & Buzzy

Nikita had a super fun weekend with Buzzy.  Buzzy even got to help Nikita paint a rainbow!

Greta's Learning Commitment

Today Greta shared a wonderful powerpoint that she had made about her time in a German school.  The children had lots of questions for Greta and we found out lots of interesting things about school in Germany.  Thanks for sharing Greta!

Reminders for Room 4 Penguins

Tonight we will be performing on stage for the Junior Team Production 'Where the Wild Things Are'.  We are all very excited!!!  Here are some reminders for the Room 4 penguins:

I NEED TO:

·      wear my black pants and white t-shirt to school on Thursday Night

·      be at school at 6pm

·      Come to Room 9 (on the senior side – on the top deck by the hall)

·      Collect my mask and gloves from Mrs McCulley

·      Enjoy the show!

Alina & Buzzy

Alina took Buzzy home for the weekend.  They had a fantastic time together.  Thanks for taking such good care of Buzzy, Alina.

Kalis' Learning Commitment

Today Kalis shared his Learning Commitment with the class.  He made a really cool crystal and told us all about it.  Well done, Kalis!

Production Costumes

A note has been sent home today about our costumes for the Junior School Production next week.  We will be dressing up as penguins.  The children will be wearing a plain white t-shirt and plain black leggings, shorts or trousers.  If you have these items at home, it would be wonderful if you could send them to school by 11th of November (named and in a bag).  If you are unable to provide these items, please email Mrs McCulley at natalieb@georgestreet.school.nz

Buzzy & Ayden

Ayden entertained Buzzy by taking him to visit the Ōtākou Marae.  Ayden also shared his Halloween treats and a milkshake with Buzzy.  Thanks for being kind to Buzzy, Ayden.

The Penguin Dance

We have been practising our Penguin Dance for the Junior School Production on Thursday 14th of November.  Here are the moves if you would like to dance along at home.

Buzzy & Greta

Buzzy had lots of fun with Greta.  It was her birthday so Buzzy celebrated with Greta.  He also went exploring and had a picnic.  What a super weekend!
